Dynamic planting along the fence. Also shows sunken patio. Arameria maritima planted atop of the rock feature. View under the arbours. From the garage door, back to the house along the path.
The grey rendered wall compliments both the paving and the planting. By sinking the patio area, we reduced the exposure from over-looking neighbours. The hosta and Phormium add structural planting to the scheme. Original paving left in place. Featured bed shows off the clients collection of Knifophia's Picture shows the full extent of the project. The arbours and sunken patio behind. View down the central path to the garage door. Shows lawned area and central arbours. View from the top of the boundary wall. Shows scope of works. View from the top of the boundary wall. From above bench area. Lower shingle area with stepping stone path. Striking rock feature central to image. To soften the impact of the paving. In this project, the client had a problem relaxing in his garden due to being overlooked. We solved this issue by sinking a new patio area into the garden.Additional height and screening was created by four well placed arbours. All the plants were supplied by the customer, arranged and planted by Westbury Gardens.
